Felip’s Essentials

Felip: Hello everyone, I’m Felip, and these are my essentials.

So my first item is this pair of gloves. I personally think they look super stylish. Look at these. I feel like I get a boost of confidence if I have them on. +10 Attribute (video game reference; when equipping an item) when I have them on, you know? They look so cool, as you can see.

I’m like a MotoGP driver so I feel like I’m always in a race. I don’t know what kind of race—whether it’s the race of life or anything else. But I think these are cool. So yeah.

Staff: Do you have an inspiration for those gloves?

Felip: The inspiration here is because I loved riding a motorbike. I had a motorbike, so that’s when I- I wasn’t this [well-versed] in fashion before, but I saw that it looked cool to include in an outfit. Even when you’re not actively riding a motorbike.

As long as you don’t wear a helmet! But yeah, it looks fantastic.

The second one is a cap, because when I have it on, it makes me look cool. Not that I don’t [want to] show my face. It just adds to how cool I’d look. As a dancer, I tried wearing a cap before. That was my first time wearing one in my 1st year of high school.

It looks exactly like this. This wasn’t popular before because we were more on snapbacks back then. This is the cap that I remember. Pretty vintage. +8 attribute to my coolness. Right?

Next are the shades. Do I look fabulous now?

This serves no particular purpose, really. It just allows me to look wherever I want. I can look at people while idling. I’m not the type to stare at someone so openly. So, when I have these on, I can observe my surroundings better.

Hmm, what is it adding to?

Staff: +Charisma

Felip: Right, plus charisma. I always bring a pair of shades with me, probably every day, even when I don’t need them. Even when it rains or when it’s dark, I still put these on.

Staff: In any kind of mood, right?

Felip: Yeah, any mood. Even when it rains or at night, I have it on. I just put it up like this; I don’t wear it at night because that would be weird. But whatever. Fashion is important; swag is eternal.

So, the following item is a mini bag.

I’m not really into backpacks, so I’m okay with bringing mini bags since I only have tiny items in them. I bring a lot of stuff with me, my everyday essentials. I’ll show you some later.

Staff: Easy to carry.

Felip: It’s also easy to carry since I have it on a sling. I’m into sling mini bags. So yeah.

It also adds coolness to my outfit. You really need to have this to complete the armor. Because it’s like you’re wearing armor when you have this on, right? Always a complete [outfit].

Staff: Guess the price (a game, popularized on the internet where viewers try to guess the price of an item).

Felip: Guess the price?

Staff: How many digits?

Felip: It’s around 10 Php.

So next, house keys. Of course, I shouldn’t forget about this. Everything else can go, just not this, because I can’t get inside my house and rest. So this is for revival every day, so to speak.

Staff: Where is that keychain from?

Felip: It’s a gift from a fan. So I’m using it now. Thank you so much to whoever got this for me. Thank you.

Staff: Is it from the tour?

Felip: Yes, this was handed to me during the tour. And it looks fabulous!

Airpods. I always listen to music. When I listen to music, I’m in my own world. So I think I shouldn’t forget this every day. I wouldn’t be in the mood if I didn’t have this.

And I think it’s important as someone who makes music. I need this so I can set my mood first thing in the morning. When I’m out the door, I must already have this on to set my mood for the day.

Staff: What are your moodsetters?

Felip: What kind of songs, you mean? Hmm, Travis Scott, Quavo, and the like. Loud music. I like to start the day aggressively, so to speak, so I’ll feel good.

But actually, these days, I also listen to my whole EP because the mood for each track is different. So yeah, I probably had it on repeat for a few weeks now.

Next is my phone. It’s also one of the most important things next to my house keys. It’s for communication, mainly. Second, GarageBand (an app that allows users to create music) is here, so if I think of a melody, I record it here so I won’t forget it. I’m forgetful, so it would be risky if I forgot it; I’d be annoyed at myself.

Staff: What’s your favorite line that you recorded on your phone? From your songs?

Felip: Favorite line?

Staff: A memorable line.

Felip: [Sings Mictest]

Mictest, where are my Bisaya [people] at?

Moving like this;

You know who the baddest.

That. It’s a Bisaya song that I mixed with English.

Yup, I can’t forget about this (referring to the phone).

Staff: Wallpaper reveal.

Felip: Huh? Oh, here. I’m safe, bro.

It’s good scenery, crescent moon over a tranquil sea. Is it at dawn? Twilight? I don’t know. It’s the same anyway. When the sun sets or rises. This is my wallpaper, remember it.
