In addition to being an accomplished vocalist, Felip also brings a wide array of musical abilities to the stage. His love for music dates back to his childhood. Through his uncle’s influence, he was motivated to learn how to play several instruments, including the keyboard, guitar and even a little bit of the drums.
He revealed in one DOUGBROCK Radio Episode that in his teens, he always had his trusty guitar by his side and was frequently invited to perform during school events. This experience ultimately helped shape him into the musician he is today.

Incorporating Instruments into his Songs and Performances
Felip continues to evolve in his music by incorporating technology into his songs, using MIDI controllers for example. His love for versatile sounds also encompasses electronic music production as shown in this sneak peak of his unreleased tracks, which adds a unique touch to his musical repertoire.
He not only writes and produces his own songs but also plays various instruments during live performances. Let’s travel back to December 28, 2019, as he took on an acoustic cover of “Best Part” by H.E.R ft. Daniel Caesar, and blew the crowd away with his guitar skills and soulful vocals during SB19’s 1st major concert at Cuneta Astrodome.
More recently, during the group’s Pagtatag! Finale Concert, he played an original composition titled “Foes” which he hinted at as an early taste of his highly-awaited international album to be released on July 5, 2024. With a powerful electric guitar intro, he captivated the audience from the very first note.
