Filipino Food Recommendations
The interview wrapped up with Felip’s Filipino food recommendations for the viewers. He started with sinigang, a sour soup dish that has different variations. Felip specifically recommended pork sinigang. The fatty and soft pork meat pairs well with the sour soup and crunchy vegetables. He then recommended sisig. A dish often served with alcohol, this tasty dish also pairs nicely with steamed rice. It is grilled pork, finely chopped and served in a sizzling plate with butter, onion, chili and calamansi. Lastly, he recommended menudo, a pork stew cooked in tomato sauce, with chunks of potato and carrots served with rice similar to Japanese curry.
