When the heart overflows with so much love and joy, it tends to spill over. This seems to be exactly the case with Felip (aka SB19 Ken) fans. Felip’s music, artistry and character generate such strong, positive emotions that fans simply feel the urge to pass on all the good energy they receive from Felip to the world.
From sharing warmth and cheer with the elderly, to pitching in for animal conservation efforts, let’s revisit and celebrate the generous acts of love and kindness from Felip’s fans and fanbases.
2024 Project Highlights
1 – Project Felip for the Elderly
In celebration of Felip’s 27th Birthday, PangasinA’Tin ran a charity project for for the elderly residents of Silungan na Panangaro. Puregold spotted the project announcement and donated additional goods.
2 – Chip for Change
Spearheaded by the Superior Siwson fanbase, and sponsored by Hello Desserts and Fit ‘n Right, this donation drive gathered donations in cash and kind for the benefit of Kalingap Casa de Sueños House of Dreams and Chosen Children Village.
3 – Tatlong Stars ni Dora
Who can forget how Ken fans cleverly turned a Dora joke into an outreach program? This SB19 Ken Updates project shared goodies, meals and donations to the children at Ampunan ni Hesus, Maria, at Jose.
4 – Taymur Adoption
Because Felip loves animals, fans love them too. On behalf of Felip, the Underground Squad adopted Taymur, an orangutan from the Nyaru Menteng Rehabilitation Centre, for one year.
5 – Birthday Event for Orphans and the Elderly
“Together we ‘Ken’ make changes for the better,” said the Solid Ka-Sisiw [SU.PERIOR.ZONE] family as they launched twin Birthday events for Ken at the House of Somang and Saint Rita Orphanage.
6 – Clucks of Kindness
In a concerted effort, A’tin CDO Official and the Ken/Felip Suson Fans FB Group, joined hands with the CDO Blue Eagles, Naval Squadron Reserve and Philippine Marines to spread some “clucks of kindness”. In honor of Ken’s 27th birthday, they handed out groceries to residents of Brgy. Pigsang-an and Sitio Sto. Niño, Brgy. Indahag.
7 – Share-A-Joy Food-Giving Project
The Underground Squad surfaced above ground for a food-giving event for 60 children under the care of the Don Bosco Youth Center in Pasil, Cebu City. With spaghetti, chicken, cake, games and prizes, it was a happy day celebrating Felip’s Birthday.
8 – Feeding Program
For Ken fans, any day of the year is worth celebrating even if it isn’t his birthday. Adding to the 2024 outreach list is this second quarter feeding program posted by Sisiw Ng China, filling both bellies and hearts in Taguig and Sultan Kudarat.
2023 Project Highlights
1 – Project LSS: Lasting Superior Sound
The Angry Sisiw fanbase vowed to make people smile in 2023, supporting two charities for lolos, lolas and kids.
They had a fun event in 2022 as well. Watch their throwback video below with some lovely lolas.
2 – maKEN our Lola Happy
A’Tin Aklan spent Ken’s 26th birthday with the elderly at the Missionaries of Charity in New Washington, Aklan. Indeed, fans KEN always make lolos and lolas happy.
3 – Helping Save the Eagles
In 2023, SB19 Ken Updates donated over Php 20k to the Philippine Eagle Foundation under Felip Jhon “Ken” Suson’s name. Here’s proof that artistic swag and style can even save eagles.
4 – Spreading Hope and Love 3x Over
Fans banded together for three more charity projects for the benefit of Seeds Of Hope, Kids Canservive and Strays Worth Saving.
2022 Project Highlight
1 – Kentolala’s Educational Needs
If you’re a longtime Felip fan, you’d know his livestreams are punctuated by heartwarming congratulations to fans who did well in their studies, and comforting words to those who need to do better. That’s why it’s always uplifting to see projects with a bearing on education, like this one from the House of Sizzling Sisiw, in collaboration with Akbayan Youth, where they provided sixty-five packs of educational supplies to the children of San Pedro, Laguna.
2021 Project Highlight
1 – Light Up Siargao
Let there be light, so the Angry Sisiw fan group, together with Ishift Philippines, helped raise over Php 36k for solar lamps to light up Siargao. Excess fan donations went to a project for a home for the aged.
