“ID” is the brainchild of BMSG CEO, and Japanese singer-songwriter Mitsuhiro Hidaka (SKY-HI). In this one of a kind release, SKY-HI drops bars with rappers from different dance and vocal groups, RYOKI of BE:FIRST, RYUKI of MAZZEL, JIMMY of PSYCHIC FEVER and FELIP of SB19.

With its fierce delivery, the song explores the many facets of the concept of identity, including the psychoanalytic id, and the performers’ ties to idol culture. With the rappers taking a part in writing their own lines, the song further presents different perspectives around being part of the hip-hop community despite not having emerged from its street culture.
